Livestage.Youth winner Feach: We will fix the tooth with the prize money

The LiveStage.Youth competition showcases young musicians, providing them with performance experience and industry contacts, culminating in the selection of three finalists.

Over the weekend, the LiveStage.Youth competition took place, targeting young musicians and serving as a continuation of the former Noortebänd competition. The initiative aims to provide young talents with performance experience and the opportunity to network with music professionals. The event showcased a wide range of musical genres at the Paavli Culture Factory, drawing significant interest from participants across Estonia and abroad.

The competition received 49 applications from artists in Estonia as well as international submissions from Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and even Austria, indicating a high level of interest in such a platform. The lead organizer, Brigitta Pruual, expressed her excitement over the strong turnout and participation from diverse musical backgrounds, ranging from rock and electronic music to hip-hop, jazz, and indie.

From over fifty candidates, ten finalists were chosen to perform, and a jury selected the top three who participated in a super final. Each performance highlighted the high level of talent present, with participants inspiring each other. The prize money from the competition will be used by Feach, the winner, to address personal needs, such as dental work, illustrating the tangible benefits that such competitions can provide to young artists aiming to advance in their music careers.
