The João Carlos Paes Mendonça Institute in Fortaleza is offering 240 spots for free vocational courses aimed at young people aged 16 to 24.
The João Carlos Paes Mendonça Institute (IJCPM) has announced the availability of 240 spots for free vocational courses in Fortaleza targeted specifically at youth aged 16 to 24. These courses are designed to equip young individuals with essential skills and knowledge in a range of theme-based workshops, including Communication, Technology, Citizenship, and Employability, all structured within a semester-long educational journey.
The courses are organized into a total of 144 hours per semester, scheduled into three weekly sessions of four hours each. Participants will engage in hands-on learning across three specialized laboratories: the Communication Laboratory, the Technology for Citizenship and Employability Laboratory, and the Integrated Laboratory of Citizenship and Employability. This innovative approach emphasizes practical engagement, aiming to enhance the participants' ability to transition into the workforce effectively.
This initiative reflects a growing focus on vocational education in Brazil, particularly as a means to combat youth unemployment and provide essential skills that align with market needs. As the program seeks to empower young individuals through education, it underscores the importance of integrating citizenship and employability into vocational training, fostering a more skilled and socially responsible generation.
