The Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE) in Brazil has announced the availability of 505 opportunities for internships and apprenticeships in the state of Ceará. This initiative is part of their Maratona de Vagas event, which aims to connect young people and students aged 14 and older with potential employers. The event is scheduled to take place in Fortaleza next Tuesday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Faculdade CDL, among over 90 locations across Brazil celebrating CIEE's 62nd anniversary.

The program targets diverse age groups, offering internship positions for individuals from 16 years old who are enrolled in high school, technical, or higher education institutions. Meanwhile, the apprenticeship opportunities are available for participants aged 14 to 24 who are either currently enrolled or have completed high school, with no age limit for individuals with disabilities. Prospective candidates are encouraged to bring personal identification documents such as ID (RG) and tax identification (CPF) to participate in the event and apply for the positions.

This initiative not only highlights the CIEE's commitment to youth employment but also seeks to bridge the gap between education and the workforce. By concentrating on young people’s career development, the program aims to enhance their practical skills and improve employment prospects in the increasingly competitive job market in Brazil, particularly in regions like Ceará that often face economic challenges.
