Gift from Yogi Government Before Holi... Scholarship Increased for 9th and 10th Grade Students
The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has increased scholarship amounts for 9th and 10th grade students ahead of Holi, benefiting millions.
The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has made a significant announcement ahead of the Holi festival by increasing the scholarship amount for 9th and 10th grade students. In a bid to provide better financial support to students, the scholarship for Other Backward Class (OBC) students has been raised to ₹3000, a substantial increase from the previous amount. This decision is intended to assist students in continuing their education and reducing dropout rates in the state.
Approximately 3.8 million students in Uttar Pradesh stand to benefit from this enhancement of scholarship funds. Minister Narendra Kashyap, who is associated with the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, attributed this decision to the direct efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He emphasized that the chief minister has consistently prioritized education, and this move is viewed as a significant step in that direction.
The government's initiative aims to uplift economically disadvantaged and backward class students by providing them with the necessary financial support. This scholarship increase is part of a broader strategy to improve educational access and equity across the state, ensuring that more students can pursue their academic goals without the burden of financial constraints. This decision has the potential to foster a more educated workforce in the future, contributing to the overall growth and development of Uttar Pradesh.
