Practical training program under the auspices of ELINT
A practical training program titled 'Practitioner in Shipping' will take place in April, targeting maritime executives and focusing on sustainability and ESG compliance.
In April, a two-day practical training program named 'Practitioner in Shipping' will be organized by the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE) under the auspices of the Hellenic Institute of Maritime Technology and with the support of the ESG Shipping Awards. This program is designed for professionals in the shipping industry, aiming to provide practical knowledge and applications concerning the contemporary sustainability demands and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria.
The certification, known as Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner in Shipping, has already been awarded to hundreds of professionals from leading companies in the maritime sector, including A.P. Moller-Maersk, Tsakos Group, COSCO Shipping, and Danaos Shipping. This highlights the program's credibility and relevance in the current industry landscape where sustainability is increasingly critical.
The seminar specifically targets senior executives in fleet management, technical departments, and ESG management, as well as professionals involved in compliance and commercial activities related to EU and IMO (International Maritime Organization) requirements. This initiative reflects the industry's shift towards greater accountability in sustainability practices and the need for specialized training to meet regulatory standards.
