Additional Victim Circumstances in 'Motel Drug Murder' Revealed... Under Police Investigation
A woman in her twenties has been arrested for allegedly causing the deaths of two men by administering drug-laced drinks, and police are investigating additional victims.
A woman identified as 'G' has been detained by police for reportedly giving drug-laced beverages to two men, resulting in their deaths in the Gangbuk District of Seoul. As of the latest reports, police have gathered evidence suggesting that there are more victims beyond the three previously confirmed. The investigation has revealed that this woman used medication prescribed by a psychiatrist to concoct the dangerous drinks starting from mid-December of last year up until early September. She has been charged with murder, special injury, and drug-related offenses and was sent to court on the 19th of this month.
Recently, police have expanded their investigation by identifying additional potential victims after obtaining testimonies corroborating incidents beyond the initial three affected individuals. One additional victim reported that they lost consciousness after consuming a drink given by the woman in question last month, raising concerns about her broader criminal behavior than initially acknowledged. This incident reportedly occurred between the timelines of two confirmed cases and contradicts the woman’s statements, which only acknowledged providing drugs to three men.
The police are continuing their inquiries into G's connections with other men and evaluating the circumstances surrounding these additional allegations. They have emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to confirm the facts regarding the new victim claims and ensure public safety from any further potential threats. This case reflects growing concerns over drug-related crimes and the vulnerability of individuals to such manipulative tactics in social and nightlife settings.
