On Tuesday, February 24, Riga will host an event called "Together to Victory!" to mark the fourth anniversary of the war in Ukraine. The gathering will occur at 7:30 AM by the Freedom Monument, where participants will be organized into a designated area to form the shape of Ukraine from a higher viewpoint. Attendees will sing the Ukrainian national anthem alongside choirs and musicians to express solidarity with Ukraine. The event will be hosted by actress Guna Zariņa from the New Riga Theatre.

The program for the event includes a moment of silence, during which the Latvian national anthem "Dievs, svētī Latviju!" along with the Ukrainian anthem "Ще не вмерла України" will be sung, as well as various songs like "Taisnība", "Dziesma, ar ko tu sāksies?", "Не твоя війна", and "Zaļā dziesma". Notable soloists such as Aija Vītoliņa, Daumants Kalniņš, and Artems Basovs will perform during the event, enhancing the atmosphere of remembrance and solidarity.

Attendees are encouraged to bring flags of Ukraine and Latvia to show their support visually. This event signifies not only a remembrance of the past but also a collective stand for a hopeful future, reinforcing the bonds between Latvia and Ukraine amid ongoing challenges.
