The Manoel de Barros Foundation has opened enrollment for the free Jovem em Ação project in Campo Grande, targeting high school students. This initiative aims to assist young people in making informed career choices and in their preparation for the job market. Running for its fifth edition, the program's activities are scheduled to start in March and will continue until December 10, held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the foundation's headquarters.
Over the nine-month course, participants will receive guidance on how to craft resumes, handle job interviews effectively, and exhibit appropriate professional conduct. Furthermore, the program is designed to introduce attendees to various professions and fields, supporting those who are still undecided about their career paths. This comprehensive approach not only focuses on professional preparation but also includes personal development, social interaction, and fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship, business, and career advancement.
Given the critical importance of career readiness for young individuals in today's competitive job market, this project is not just a training initiative; it represents a community investment in the future of its youth. By equipping students with essential skills and knowledge, the Jovem em Ação project aims to enhance their employability and foster a sense of agency as they navigate their professional journeys.
