Emap has launched the 3rd edition of the Jovem Tech program, offering 60 scholarships for technology training to young residents of Maranhão, Brazil.
Emap, the Maranhão Port Administration Company, has announced the launch of the 3rd edition of its Jovem Tech program, aimed at providing training in innovation and technology to young people in Maranhão. The program offers 60 scholarships, with each recipient getting R$ 1,500 monthly for a duration of six months. Interested applicants can register online until March 3 at noon through a form available on Fapema's website.
This initiative is targeted at individuals aged 18 to 24 who have recently graduated from public high schools or hold full scholarships from private schools. The focus of this third edition remains on training students in Front End, Back End, and Data Science, contributing significantly to the digital transformation of the logistics and port sectors in the region. The total investment for this round of scholarships amounts to R$ 540,000.
The courses will be conducted in-person and consist of a total of 30 hours of training. By investing in the education of young professionals, Emap aims to equip them with necessary skills to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape, enhancing both their career opportunities and the region's economic development.
