The Secretary of Education of Piauí (Seduc) has declared that it will provide 240 spots for free courses aimed at the educational care of individuals with visual disabilities in Teresina. Registration for these courses will be available online until February 27. The offered classes will focus on Braille, Soroban, and self-description techniques, accommodating both in-person and remote formats to enhance accessibility for a wider audience.
Targeted primarily at education professionals, high school students, and anyone interested in the field of visual disabilities who possess at least a high school diploma, these courses are particularly timely as they aim to improve educational resources and support for people with these disabilities. Interested applicants can register through an online form, which will close automatically once the number of registrants reaches double the number of available spots, indicating significant interest in this opportunity for professional development.
The selection result is set to be announced on March 2, with classes expected to commence on March 9 and run for a duration of four months.
