In a recent operation conducted 47 nautical miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Ecuadorian Navy, in collaboration with the United States Navy, successfully intercepted a vessel carrying 3.2 tons of cocaine. As part of the operation, 200 kilograms of the seized cocaine were transported to the port of Manta as evidence, while the remainder of the haul is under the custody of U.S. authorities for destruction.
