Despite immediate assistance from the bus driver and a swift response from the emergency services, the woman's condition rapidly deteriorated.
When the medical team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) arrived, they found the elderly passenger in critical condition with unmeasurable blood pressure. Attempts to stabilize her failed, as she suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after being transported to the ambulance. Resuscitation efforts by paramedics ensued but unfortunately did not succeed, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
