The incident transpired on the evening of Monday, the 9th, when the motorcycle she was riding on, descending the avenue towards the Bom Clima neighborhood, lost control. Witnesses indicated that as the motorcycle fell, its passengers were thrown into the oncoming traffic lane, resulting in the woman being struck by a car coming from the opposite direction.
Emergency services, including the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), were summoned to the scene. They determined that the woman had sustained a severe cranioencephalic trauma (TCE) and unfortunately, she did not survive the injuries sustained from the accident. The motorcycle's driver, a 43-year-old man, remained unharmed, while the 34-year-old driver of the car attempted to assist the victims.
