An elderly woman, aged 62, suffered severe injuries after being struck by a bus in the Jardim Felicidade area of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The incident occurred around 1:30 PM as the bus was at its final stop on Rua José Furtado Sobrinho, serving the local transport line. The bus driver, who is 54 years old, reported to the police that he had stopped to let passengers disembark before proceeding to reverse and then move forward, when he heard shouts indicating that he had hit someone.

Upon checking outside the vehicle, the driver discovered that part of the victim's body was on the sidewalk while her legs were trapped under the bus.
