The Global Association of Recyclable and Reusable Materials Collectors of Boa Vista (Agemarc) is organizing a recycling collection campaign in the Civic Center of Boa Vista, which runs from February 23 to 27. During this initiative, residents can donate recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, PET bottles, cans, and even electronic waste from 7 AM to 11 AM each day. Notably, glass is the only material that will not be accepted in this campaign, and participants do not need to wash or separate their recyclables beforehand as sorting will be conducted later by the volunteers.

At the Civic Center, a truck and a team of recyclers will be stationed to receive donations directly from the public. For residents or condominiums with a large amount of recyclable materials, the association offers a service to collect the items at their locations. This initiative not only encourages recycling but also aims to raise awareness about the importance of waste separation and environmental responsibility among the local population in Boa Vista. By fostering community participation, the campaign hopes to contribute significantly to the environmental sustainability of the region.
