The Latvian bobsleigh four-man team is currently ranked in the top ten after their first run at the Olympic Games.
The competition for the final medal set in the Olympic ice track is taking place in the four-man bobsleigh events, with the Latvian team also participating. After the first run, the Latvian crew managed to place themselves within the top ten finishers, achieving a time that left them 0.73 seconds behind the leader. The team is piloted by Jēkabs Kalenda, accompanied by pushers Lauris Kaufmanis, Matis Miknis, and Mairis Kļavs, starting with the 13th run number.

A total of 27 teams are competing in the event, all vying for a chance at Olympic glory.
