Latvian bobsleigh team with pilot Jēkabs Kalenda has moved up to tenth place after the third run in the Olympic Games.

At the Milan and Cortina Olympic Games, the Latvian bobsleigh four-man team, led by pilot Jēkabs Kalenda, has successfully climbed to tenth place following their third run. After the initial two runs on Saturday, they were sitting in eleventh place but managed to advance by one spot after the third run, demonstrating improvement in their performance. The final and fourth run is scheduled to take place at 13:15, giving the team a chance to further enhance their ranking.

Currently, the leading position is held by the four-man team piloted by Johannes Lohner from Germany, who marked a cumulative time of 2 minutes and 42.86 seconds before the last run. Following Lohner, the teams in second and third places are also from Germany, showcasing their dominance in the event. The second-place team, piloted by Francesco Friedrich, trails by 0.48 seconds, while the third-placed team, helmed by Adam Amur, is only 0.82 seconds behind the leader.
