Abiodun appoints new SA on waste management

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has announced the appointment of Mr. Farook Akintunde as the new Special Adviser on the Ogun State Waste Management Authority. This decision follows the replacement of the previous adviser, Abayomi Hunye, and is aimed at enhancing the management of waste in the state. Abiodun expressed confidence in Akintunde's abilities, emphasizing the importance of his experience in the environmental sector to elevate the agency's operations and responsiveness to waste management challenges.

In his statements, Governor Abiodun encouraged Akintunde to utilize his five years of experience in the environmental field to bring about significant changes in waste management practices across Ogun State. The Commissioner for Environment, Ola Oresanya, also voiced support for Akintunde, promising that the Ministry of Environment would assist the new adviser in his role.
