Ogun governor dismisses waste management authority chief, appoints replacement
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has dismissed the previous Managing Director of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority and appointed Farook Akintunde as his replacement.
The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has taken significant action by appointing Farook Akintunde as the new Special Adviser and Managing Director of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA). This appointment comes immediately after the dismissal of the former managing director, Abayomi Hunye. Governor Abiodun has urged Akintunde to utilize his five years of experience in the environmental sector to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the waste management services in Ogun State.
