Network of traffickers in the country financed alleged leader of scheme with CV in Amazonas, says delegate
A police operation in Brazil dismantled a network of traffickers financing Allan Kleber Bezerra de Lima, perceived leader of a scheme linked to the Comando Vermelho (CV) faction operating in Amazonas.
A recent operation conducted by Brazil's Civil Police aimed at dismantling a so-called "political nucleus" of the Comando Vermelho (CV) faction in Amazonas has revealed a widespread network of traffickers from various states financing Allan Kleber Bezerra de Lima, the alleged head of the scheme. The investigation disclosed that cash deposits ranging from R$100,000 to R$700,000 were made to Bezerra de Lima, who the police claim did not have legal representation at the time of his apprehension. In the backdrop of these financial transactions, Bezerra de Lima was also implicated in funneling money to ghost companies located in Tabatinga, a town near the Colombian border.
