The Governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, attended the first Job Fair of the Social Fund of São Paulo in Patrocínio Paulista, offering 300 job vacancies and free services to the local population.
On Friday, September 20, São Paulo's Governor Tarcísio de Freitas participated in the inaugural Job Fair organized by the Social Fund of São Paulo in Patrocínio Paulista. The event, which is a first for the Franca region, provided around 300 job openings, allowing locals to engage in various employment opportunities. Throughout the day, attendees benefited from free services such as resume registrations for open selection processes and support connected to the 'Trampolim' program, which aims to improve job placements in the region.
In addition to the Job Fair, Governor de Freitas also took part in the graduation ceremony for 500 students from 14 towns in the area, celebrating their completion of vocational training through the Caminho da Capacitação project. This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to workforce development and skills training as part of broader efforts to enhance local employment opportunities. The project aligns with the initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and access to essential services such as professional guidance and credit resources for small business owners.
These events underscore the importance of local initiatives in addressing employment challenges and skills deficits in the region. By fostering partnerships between government and community programs, the Governor's actions not only highlight his administration's focus on economic recovery but also aim to empower residents through education and job readiness, ultimately contributing to the development of a more skilled and competitive workforce in São Paulo.
