In Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro, two men were arrested on Thursday night for their involvement in drug trafficking. The arrests occurred around 9 PM on Rua José Marciano dos Santos in the Roberto Silveira neighborhood during a police operation targeting rising violence due to recent homicides related to drug disputes. The police aimed to mitigate these issues by actively conducting operations in areas known for drug activity.

During the operation, the authorities apprehended two men aged 31 and 48, who were found selling drugs at the location. The police seized a total of 41 crack rocks, a piece of marijuana, and R$ 45 in cash from the suspects. Furthermore, a 45-year-old man was also detained and identified as a drug user.
