Previous signal error causes delays on S-train
A signal error on Banedanmark's system caused disruptions on the S-train services in Copenhagen this morning, but the issue has since been resolved.
This morning, a fault in Banedanmark's signaling system led to significant delays for S-train services, particularly affecting stops at Copenhagen's central station, Hovedbanegården. The Danish State Railways (DSB) communicated that all S-trains, except for line F, operated with reduced service frequency due to the ongoing issue. Just before 6 AM, DSB announced that the problem had been rectified, allowing trains to resume their operations to and from Copenhagen Hovedbanegård. However, services are still running at fewer frequencies, and passengers were advised to expect delays for several hours as normal operations gradually regained pace.
