Latvian athletes Auziņa and Eiduka made history by qualifying for the finals of the team sprint competition, marking the first time such an achievement has been made by them. They finished with the 12th fastest overall time, which demonstrates their improving performance on the international stage. Eiduka's impressive finish was clocked at 3 minutes and 21.42 seconds, making her the sixth fastest among all competitors, showcasing her skill and endurance.
In the race, Auziņa recorded the 32nd fastest time at 3 minutes and 38.48 seconds, contributing to their team's overall performance. The Latvian duo, despite finishing behind the leaders by nearly 30 seconds, showed their potential to compete effectively at this level.
