Prices for accommodations in Busan have seen a dramatic increase, with reports indicating that costs escalated as much as 7.5 times in anticipation of a BTS concert scheduled for June 13. The Korea Fair Trade Commission and Korea Consumer Agency conducted an investigation into 135 accommodations listed on reservation apps, revealing that average prices surged 2.4 times compared to the previous weeks. Specifically, motels showed the highest inflation rate at 3.3 times, while hotels jumped 2.9 times, and pensions rose 1.2 times. Notably, some accommodations have more than quintupled their rates, with one location hiking their fees from 100,000 won to 750,000 won, marking a staggering price increase of 7.5 times.
