Cashew and French Hops are the Stars of D&D's New Beers
Dádiva, a brewery from Várzea Paulista, Brazil, has launched two new summer beers: 'Cara de Piscina Caju,' a Berliner Weisse with cashew pulp, and 'Banho de Mangueira,' a hoppy lager featuring French hops.
Dádiva, a brewery located in Várzea Paulista, Brazil, has introduced two innovative summer beers, reflecting the flavors of the season. One of the beers, 'Cara de Piscina Caju,' is a Berliner Weisse that incorporates cashew pulp into its recipe, boasting a low alcohol content of 3.9%, making it a refreshing option compared to traditional premium lagers available in the market. Previously, this beer featured fruit flavors such as guava and passion fruit, indicating the brewery's dedication to experimenting with local produce.
The second beer, 'Banho de Mangueira,' takes a different approach by presenting a hoppy lager that features the French hop variety Aramis, known for its floral and herbal notes. With an alcohol by volume of 5.5%, this lager is designed for those seeking a flavorful yet approachable summer drink. The name 'Banho de Mangueira,' which translates to 'Hose Bath' in English, evokes summer imagery and the refreshing experience of cooling off, fitting perfectly with the seasonal branding of these beers.
Both new offerings from Dádiva are available in specialized bars and on their online store, showing the brewery's commitment to reaching a wider audience and enhancing the summer drinking experience in Brazil. This move represents a trend in the craft beer industry, where breweries continue to innovate and experiment with unique ingredients, pushing the boundaries of traditional beer styles.
