Greece showcased its strengthened presence in the confectionery and snack sector at the ISM 2026 trade fair held in Cologne from February 1 to 4, with participation from 51 exhibitors. The event, organized by the Cologne Trade Fair and represented in Greece by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attracted 1,600 exhibitors from 72 countries and around 32,500 trade visitors from 140 countries. This year’s exhibition highlighted innovative products and trends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the global market for sweets and snacks. The participation of Greek companies was particularly significant, as they introduced their products to an international audience and demonstrated Greece's commitment to growth in the industry. Many of these companies participated through collective booths organized by Promo Solution and Great Greek Exports and Trade. This collective participation not only boosts visibility for Greek products but also strengthens ties within the sector, ensuring that Greek offerings gain recognition and support on an international scale. The presence of Greece among the top ten countries at ISM 2026 underscores the country’s competitive edge and potential in the global market for confectionery and snacks. This prominent participation not only serves as a platform for expanding market reach but also supports local businesses in enhancing their brand presence and connections with international stakeholders, paving the way for future growth in this vibrant industry.
