The 38th Athens International Jewellery Show is taking place at the Metropolitan Expo and has drawn 378 exhibitors, including major companies in the field, showcasing the event's significant international footprint with participation from 11 countries such as Italy, France, India, and Turkey. The show has also seen an increased involvement of Greek designers and is implementing a targeted Hosted Buyers program to attract trade visitors from strategically important markets like Estonia, Serbia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Lithuania.

Greek Deputy Minister of Development, Stavros Kalafatis, emphasized the event's importance as a top meeting place for the jewelry industry, asserting its role as a means of cultural capital and diplomatic tool. He referred to the exhibition as a strong developmental lever, especially on the brink of the summer tourist season. By fostering connections and presenting innovation, the show aims to enhance the global competitiveness of the Greek jewelry sector.
