A poster workshop supporting Ukraine, titled "Together Until Victory!", will take place on February 23, organized to emphasize ongoing solidarity and awareness of the war's duration.
On February 23, from 5 PM to 10 PM at LapeΕu Street 23, a poster workshop named "Together Until Victory!" will be held to encourage support for Ukraine. This event is organized by the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation, the Open Society Fund "DOTS", and the association "Your Friends". Coincidentally, this date marks four years since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, underscoring the importance of continuous support for the Ukrainian cause.
The workshop aims to remind participants that solidarity goes beyond a single day; it is a long-term commitment in light of the ongoing conflict. As the war continues, this annual event not only provides a platform for creative expression but also seeks to maintain awareness about Ukraine's struggle against aggression. With each passing year, the workshop serves as a testament to the lasting bond between Latvia and Ukraine.
Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside artist Dainis RudeΕs, creating posters using stencils or their own personalized messages. All necessary materials will be provided, and attendees can warm up with tea during the event. The posters made during the workshop will be delivered to the Freedom Monument the following morning, symbolizing a collective show of support and remembrance that extends beyond the workshop itself.
