The Court of Accounts of the State of Pará (TCE-PA) has opened registrations for the first edition of the 'Talking with Internal Control' program to be held in Santarém on March 16 and 17, 2026.
The Court of Accounts of the State of Pará (TCE-PA) has initiated the registration process for its first edition of the program 'Talking with Internal Control,' which is set to take place on March 16 and 17, 2026, in Santarém, located in western Pará. Participants can register through the event’s website or directly at the TCE-PA Regional Unit in Santarém. This initiative aims to enhance knowledge and skills in public administration and is tailored for federal, state, and municipal public managers and employees, as well as professionals and students interested in public governance.
Under the coordination of TCE-PA Corregidor Counselor Odilon Teixeira, the program forms part of the Training Plan for Jurisdicted Entities (PCJ), which is managed by the School of Accounts Alberto Veloso (Ecav). The occurrence of this event signifies a commitment to refining the capabilities of those involved in public service, thereby ensuring better governance and oversight in public administration practices. It provides a platform for sharing expertise, fostering dialogue, and enhancing the operational efficiency of local governance.
The initiative is rooted in a resolution from 2009 and exemplifies TCE-PA's ongoing efforts to engage with the public sector and improve internal controls within state and municipal institutions. By hosting such programs, TCE-PA not only facilitates educational opportunities but also reinforces the importance of accountability and transparency in public administration, ultimately aiming for better public service delivery in the region.
