Seminar gathers culture managers from 22 municipalities in Pará in Belém
A seminar aimed at qualifying cultural management and enhancing social participation in public cultural policies is taking place in Belém, bringing together representatives from over 22 municipalities in Pará.
The Formative Seminar "Te Liga!" is being held in Belém from Wednesday, the 12th, to Thursday, the 13th, organized by the Culture Committee of Pará. This event aims to enhance the quality of cultural management in Pará's municipalities and strengthen social involvement in cultural public policies. Participants include managers, secretaries, and technical staff from more than 22 municipalities, particularly from the Marajó region and the Metropolitan Region of Belém.
The seminar's program features panels, debates, and practical workshops focused on consolidating the National Culture System (SNC) and utilizing digital management tools aimed at transparency and funding mechanisms. This initiative highlights the commitment to implementing effective cultural policies through discussions and skill-building activities that empower local cultural leaders.
According to the organization's representatives, the seminar aims to support municipalities and cultural councils in structuring essential instruments such as councils, plans, and funds that are crucial for accessing government grants and funding. This reflects a broader effort to institutionalize culture management and ensure sustained civic engagement in cultural initiatives across the region.
