Program 'Talking with Internal Control' gathers managers and civil servants from western Pará
Public managers and civil servants from western Pará are participating in the 2026 edition of the 'Talking with Internal Control' program aimed at improving public administration.
Public managers and civil servants from federal, state, and municipal levels in western Pará are gathering in Santarém on the 16th and 17th of this month for the 2026 edition of the program "Conversando com o Controle Interno". This initiative is also open to professionals and academics interested in public administration. Coordinated by TCE-PA's Corregidor Counselor Odilon Teixeira, the program is part of the Jurisdictional Training Plan (PCJ), managed by the Alberto Veloso School of Accounts (Ecav).
The event was established by Resolution No. 17,775/2009 and aims to bridge the gap between external control exercised by the tribunal and internal control found within the organizations accountable to TCE. It seeks to enhance work processes and ensure greater accountability within public institutions. The opening ceremony will be led by the President of the Court of Accounts of the State of Pará (TCE-PA), Counselor Fernando Ribeiro, followed by a speech from Vice-Governor Hana Ghassan.
Through discussions and training, the program is expected to equip public servants with the necessary tools and knowledge to promote transparency and efficiency in governmental operations. The emphasis on internal control highlights an ongoing commitment to improving governance in the region, which can have significant implications for public trust and service delivery in Pará.
