The Tapajós Theater Festival, known as FestTeatro, has announced its second edition, which will be held in Santarém, Pará, from March 17 to 22, 2026. Registrations are now open for its artistic training workshops, which are free and available to both beginners and professionals looking to enhance their theatrical skills. The festival aims to promote inclusivity by ensuring that all performances and training activities are accessible to the community.

Festival coordinator Elder Aguiar emphasized the festival's commitment to inclusivity, stating that all activities - including afternoon workshops and evening performances - will be free of charge. The programming will also offer accessibility features such as Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) and audio description, further ensuring that participants from various backgrounds can engage with the festival. The organizers aim to foster a strong sense of community participation, reflecting the event's ethos of accessibility.

After a three-year hiatus, the festival will reunite groups from Pará, Amazonas, and Amapá, showcasing a rich variety of theatrical expressions.
