Stylist introduces Indian husband to family in the interior of Piaui: 'he said it’s very good to live there'
Brazilian stylist Wirla Carvalho introduced her Indian husband to her family in Piaui during a visit to her hometown, having previously celebrated their wedding abroad.
Wirla Carvalho, a stylist from Piaui, Brazil, gained attention on social media for her engaging wedding preparations with her Indian husband, Jibran Jamil. Recently, they traveled to the interior of Piaui to introduce Jibran to her family. This trip was especially significant as it allowed them to celebrate their union with family members who couldn't attend their wedding ceremony in India due to various commitments.
Originally from Pajeú do Piauí, a small town with about 3,000 inhabitants, Wirla moved to São Paulo where she met her husband during a carnival event in Rio de Janeiro. The couple's bond has grown over two years, and they have often talked about visiting her family in Piaui. However, their busy work schedules and wedding preparations delayed their visit until now, making this family introduction a long-awaited event.
Wirla mentioned that it was a cherished desire for both of them to meet her family in her native state. Despite living in São Paulo, she frequently returns to Piaui, albeit for short visits. They took advantage of a rare break from their busy lives to make this trip happen, reflecting the importance of family connections and cultural ties, especially in the context of their intercultural marriage.
