Artti Aigro and Kaimar Vagul represented Estonia in the men's pairs competition at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, where they finished in 13th place. The athletes scored 238.8 points in the first round, just 6.5 points shy of making it to the second round, where they performed decently. Aigro jumped a distance of 127.5 meters, earning 120.5 points, while Vagul matched his distance but received slightly fewer points at 118.3 due to execution factors.

As the competition progressed to the second round, the conditions allowed the jumpers to perform without interruption. However, severe weather, including heavy snowfall and strong headwinds, plagued the final round. Although a few athletes managed to take their jumps during this round, the conditions eventually deteriorated to a point where the round was canceled, voiding the results and leading to medal allocation based only on the previous round's standings.

As a result, the gold medals were awarded to Austrian athletes Jan Hörl and Stefan Embacher, who amassed a total score of 568.7 points. The Polish team, comprising Kacper Tomasiak and Pawel Wasek, secured the silver medal with a score of 547 points, showcasing the competitive nature of this event despite the weather challenges faced by the participants.
