Outback launches American-style breakfast; Brazil is the second country in the world to have a morning menu

Outback is introducing a breakfast menu in Brazil for the first time, available exclusively at two locations from February 21 to May 31, featuring American-style dishes and a limited service time.

Starting from February 21 to May 31, Outback Steakhouse will launch a breakfast menu exclusively at its Heitor Penteado location in São Paulo and at a branch in Rio de Janeiro, marking the first time the chain has offered breakfast in Brazil. The breakfast will be served on weekends and holidays from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and during this time, guests will not have access to the regular menu.

The new breakfast menu includes twelve options, primarily inspired by American breakfast habits, while using familiar ingredients from the existing menu. One standout dish is the ribs on the barbie, which highlights the chain's American roots. Although the launch is temporary, there are hints that it could become a permanent feature depending on the response from customers.

This initiative positions Brazil as the second country globally, after Qatar, to offer an Outback breakfast menu, which indicates the brand's strategy to adapt and localize offerings based on regional preferences. The success of this campaign could influence future menu decisions and potentially expand breakfast service to other locations in Brazil if it proves popular with diners.
