The Ukrainian Air Force indicated that Russia launched a total of 112 drones along with an Iskander-M ballistic missile throughout the night, leading to significant engagements between Ukrainian air defenses and the incoming threats. Despite the effectiveness of the air defenses, which intercepted 91 drones, a substantial number still penetrated Ukrainian territory, resulting in strikes on 11 specific locations.

In the Kherson Oblast, targeted assaults by Russian forces impacted 31 settlements, with a report from Governor Oleksandr Prokudin confirming the deaths of two civilians and the injuries of four others within just one day. Notably, the conditions under which the casualties occurred included a tragic incident where an explosive device was dropped from a drone onto a 52-year-old man, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of such attacks and raising concerns over civilian safety.

Further incidents were reported in Sumy Oblast where a drone strike in the Konotopska community resulted in the tragic death of a 44-year-old woman, alongside injuries to a young boy and two men. Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, one person was killed and several others wounded, accumulating a grim tally of casualties as the conflict continues unabated, emphasizing the ongoing violence and human suffering in the region.
