Citus plans EUR 90 million in investments and 15 development projects

Citus is planning a EUR 90 million investment to support 15 development projects, primarily focused on housing sales and strategic acquisitions.

Citus, a prominent developer in Lithuania, is set to embark on a significant growth trajectory with plans to invest EUR 90 million, which is an increase from the EUR 36 million in 2025. A substantial portion of these funds, EUR 65 million, is allocated for the development of new housing sales, while the remaining EUR 25 million will be aimed at strategic acquisitions. This ambitious investment is seen as a catalyst for the company’s further expansion in a competitive market, showcasing its commitment to scaling operations.

The expansion is also reflected in Citus's workforce, with expectations to increase the number of employees by 25% this year. According to the company’s Director, Šarūnas Tarutis, this growth is part of a strategic evolution rather than a reactionary measure. He emphasizes that this investment marks the transition to a more ambitious phase for the company, which has steadily built its market presence and is now gearing up for an even broader vision that extends beyond the immediate projects.

Currently, Citus has a portfolio that includes 15 ongoing projects, most of which entered the preliminary work phase last year. By 2026, these developments are anticipated to reach critical construction stages, further solidifying the company’s footprint in the residential property sector. This proactive approach not only highlights the company's growth ambitions but also reflects a responsive strategy toward the increasing demand in the housing market, indicating a thorough preparation for the future and a robust belief in sustainable development within the region.
