Fisherman disappears in the Capim River and is found dead in Aurora do Pará

The search operation lasted nearly 20 hours, involving numerous volunteers from the community who joined the firefighters in their rescue efforts. According to the Civil Police, one of the victim's sons reported that Raimundo had set out to fish, and shortly after, nearby residents heard cries for help. When they arrived at the riverbank, they noticed an overturned canoe but were unable to find the fisherman, who had already disappeared under the water.

Authorities have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Family members informed the police that the vanished fisherman was experienced and familiar with the river, raising concerns about what may have led to this tragedy.
