According to the Alytus County Police Department, a traffic accident occurred in Pakuonys municipality, in the village of Pabališkiai around 7:15 AM. The incident involved a "Seat Ibiza" car driven by a woman, born in 1973, which collided with an oncoming "Skoda Octavia" car driven by a man born in 1976.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Seat Ibiza", the driver of the "Skoda Octavia", and a passenger in the latter vehicle, born in 1980, were transported to Kaunas clinics due to injuries sustained during the accident. Emergency services responded quickly, and the situation was managed on-site, ensuring that all necessary medical support was provided to the injured individuals.

An investigation has been initiated for violations related to road traffic safety or vehicle operation regulations.
