Ikeja Electric Plc has recently issued a clarification regarding its directive related to customer data updates, which is now governed by the provisions of the Nigeria Tax Act 2025. This directive specifically applies to corporate customers, vendors, and strategic business partners. Under this regulation, electricity bills that do not contain valid identification details will be considered invalid, thereby impacting billing processes and service availability.
