In a serious case reported from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a young man identified as Gazi Khan has been arrested for allegedly extorting money from a woman by threatening to release her nude photos and videos. The victim reported that during their relationship, Khan had taken explicit photos and videos without her consent and subsequently threatened to make them public unless she paid him Rs 2 lakh. Disturbingly, he also threatened her life when she refused to comply with his demands.

The woman filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Khan on February 9 at the local police station, detailing the harassment and threats she faced. Alongside Gazi Khan, she has also named his accomplices, Shoaib Khan and Mansi Awasthi, in the FIR, which prompted police action. Law enforcement officials quickly began an investigation and, based on a tip-off, arrested Gazi Khan on February 12 near a temple at the Rajghat intersection.
