This decrease was observed across most groups, although the unemployment rate for women aged 15 to 24 did not see a decline. Despite this improvement, Greece remained among the countries with the highest unemployment rates, ranking 8th from the bottom in the OECD with a rate of 7.5%, compared to the OECD average of 4.9%.
