Enel has initiated the Back to School program, aiming to connect more young women to STEM careers by dismantling existing stereotypes and barriers that hinder women's access to technical and scientific jobs. Coming into its fifth edition, the program has successfully engaged over 2,000 high school students last year and enlisted approximately 46 STEM experts from Enel, who use their knowledge and experience to inspire young females to embark on professions still dominated by men. The initiative highlights the ongoing effort to address the gender gap in the scientific fields. During the global celebration of women in science, it was reported that the program will continue through the 2025/26 academic year, offering regular mentoring and guidance sessions within high schools.
