Traffic changes on the Vilnius-Utena road: driving will be prohibited in some places

Traffic on the A14 Vilnius-Utena road will be temporarily changed due to film shooting on February 12-13, restricting access at certain sections.

On February 12-13, 2023, the traffic on the A14 Vilnius-Utena road will undergo temporary changes due to scheduled film shooting activities. The restrictions will be in place from 4:00 AM on February 12 until 9:00 PM on February 13. The affected sections will be between kilometers 17 and 21, specifically between the intersections leading to Paberžė and those leading to Maišiagala and Nemenčina, heading towards Vilnius.

To ensure smooth traffic flow despite the restrictions, alternative routes have been suggested. Drivers are advised to use the Vievis-Maišiagala-Nemenčinė (Road No. 108) and Raudondvaris-Giedraičiai-Molėtai (Road No. 172) routes, which include the old Molėtų road. Special considerations have been mentioned for local residents and special transport, ensuring that they will have access even during the filming period.

Authorities recommend that travelers plan their journeys in advance and pay attention to road signs during this period, as regular traffic from Vilnius towards Molėtai will continue as per usual. The adjustments aim to minimize disruptions while supporting local film production efforts.
