The Public Ministry of Brazil (MPF) is demanding explanations from the Belém City Hall concerning the cleanliness and maintenance conditions of the PSM da 14 hospital. This request was initiated by federal prosecutor Patrick Colares after the Regional Federal Court of the 1st Region upheld a decision from the Federal Court in Pará that forbids the closure, stoppage, or transfer of the management of this healthcare facility. In particular, the MPF's inquiry focuses on whether the City Hall of Belém has been neglectful in monitoring the cleaning service contract at the hospital.
