Free boxing at the Malecón del Salado for children and adolescents
A free boxing program for children and adolescents will take place at the Malecón del Salado in Guayaquil, aiming to enhance their physical fitness and personal skills.
As classes near an end in the coastal educational system, parents are looking for engaging activities for their children until the new school term begins. One enticing option is a free boxing program organized for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 at the Malecón del Salado. The classes are scheduled to take place from Monday to Friday, between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and all that participants need to bring are their boxing gloves.
The initiative, announced by the Municipality of Guayaquil, aims to improve the physical condition of young participants while also helping them develop important personal skills such as discipline, confidence, and self-control. This program is especially valuable as it provides a constructive outlet for children's energy during the school break, promoting both physical fitness and personal development in a supportive environment.
The boxing classes will be led by Coach Jean Carlos Baldeón, who is experienced in training young athletes. They are set to kick off on Wednesday, February 18, and are part of a broader array of activities designed to keep children engaged and active. By investing in such community programs, Guayaquil is not only fostering physical health among its youth but also building a sense of community and teamwork.
