Guayaquil is gearing up for a vibrant Carnival celebration in 2026, featuring an array of free concerts that highlight salsa and tropical rhythms. The local government has organized a series of performances to be held in the Sauces area and downtown Guayaquil on specific dates. The first concert kicks off on Saturday evening at 5 PM in the Sauces 8 and 6 zones, showcasing popular groups like Bravo de la Salsa, Los Terrícolas, Los Iracundos, and Duban Bayona, with the festivities continuing until midnight.

On Sunday, the party will shift to the Malecón and Avenida República, starting at 5 PM, where attendees will enjoy performances by artists such as Matcha and Daddy, Rubén El Rey, Christian Fernández, and Unízono. The celebrations will extend into Monday, featuring additional performances from Guayacán Orquesta, Mapalé, Héctor Jaramillo, and once again, Bravo de la Salsa.

These concerts are designed to be free of charge, allowing broad public participation.
