The Public Company of Social Action and Education (EP DASE) in Guayaquil is launching a municipal vacation program that features a range of activities including chess, volleyball, football, basketball, and traditional games. Registration for this program will open on Monday, February 23, targeting children and youth aged 7 to 17. This initiative comes as schools in Guayaquil begin to close their academic year, highlighting the city's focus on engaging the younger population during the vacation period.
DASE aims to promote recreational activities that encompass sports, arts, culture, and practical training. The program will take place in various municipal centers, such as CAMIs, multifunctional centers, and centers dedicated to tutoring and skill enhancement. With over 20 activities offered, the program is designed to provide a blend of learning and entertainment, catering to diverse interests and talents of the youth.
Additionally, the program will include workshops on self-defense, first aid, modeling, etiquette, dance, theater, guitar, painting, crafts, braiding, beauty, and mate making. These workshops not only aim to foster skills but also to enrich the cultural and social experiences of the participants, creating a well-rounded vacation program that encourages personal development and community involvement.
