The Group for Research and Assistance to Children with Cancer (Gpaci) has launched a charity bazaar this week in Sorocaba, São Paulo, to raise funds for its crucial services. The bazaar features a variety of items including clothing, shoes, toys, and decorative objects, all generously donated by the local community. Remarkably, the prices at this bazaar are approximately 50% lower than typical retail, making it an accessible opportunity for shoppers while supporting a vital cause.
Gláucia Blaseck, a board member of Gpaci and the person in charge of the bazaar, expressed great optimism about the sales during an interview with TV TEM, highlighting the event's significance in the community. This mega bazaar is held every three to four months and has become an essential event for local residents. With increasing needs at Gpaci, Blaseck emphasized that community collaboration is critical, especially during this fundraising effort.
The bazaar will be open until Thursday, February 12th, located at Rua Cel. José Pedro de Oliveira, No. 565, Jardim Faculdade, from 12 PM to 8 PM. This initiative reflects not only the community's solidarity with Gpaci but also the ongoing effort to support children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment, showcasing the dedication and compassion within Sorocaba's residents.
